Review: Bioderma Hydrabio Serum

Bioderma Hydrabio Serum
Bioderma Hydrabio Serum

The product I will be reviewing today is this moisturizing concentrate serum for very dehydrated sensitive skin. Bioderma is a company based in France specializes in skincare products for sensitive skin.

Ingredients
AQUA/WATER/EAU, GLYCERIN, XYLITOL, SODIUM POLYACRYLATE, MANNITOL, RHAMNOSE, FRUCTOOLIGOSACCHARIDES, LAMINARIA OCHROLEUCA EXTRACT, NIACINAMIDE, PYRUS MALUS (APPLE) FRUIT EXTRACT, DIMETHICONE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, TRIDECETH-6, PEG/PPG-18/18 DIMETHICONE, SODIUM HYALURONATE, HEXYLDECANOL, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, DISODIUM EDTA, CHLORPHENESIN, PHENOXYETHANOL, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM). [BI 568V1]

This product has a gel-like texture. It soothes and provides instant hydration when applied to the skin without the greasy feel. It has a very mild refreshing fragrance which claims to be allergen free. It absorbs readily into the skin but I feel the hydration does not last too long. I find this product is quite good for sensitive dehydrated skin as it claims.

To summarize, this is a simple hydrating product for sensitive skin. It does not contain any fancy ingredients so I do not think it will do much in the long run besides providing moisture. If you have really dry skin, this will not be the product for you as it is not sufficient. If you are looking for something light and gives an instant boost of moisture, this is a good product to try.

I hope you find this review helpful and as always thank you for reading!

  1. Lovely review Conny! I see that this products contains glycerin as second ingredient. So that makes me think that it also helps to make your make up last longer. Have you noticed anything differently in the wear of your make up? xoxo Sarah
